Małgorzata Ratajczak

In 1989 she graduated from Faculty of Vocal and Acting at Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz, in prof. Irena Maculewicz-Żejmo’s class. Since 1988 she is a soloist at Opera Nova in Bydgoszcz. She is also working with other opera theatres in Poland.

In 1984 she won I prize at Stanisław Moniuszko Vocal Competition in Kudowa Zdrój. In 1990 she got II prize and special award at International Vocal Competition in Wrocław. In 1992 she was a semifinalist Belvedere Vocal Competition in Vienna. In 1994 she won two prizes at A. Didur Competition in Bytom. She took part in master classes held by Fiorenza Cossotto and Ryszard Karczykowski.

She was on tour in Germany, Sweden, Netherlands, Belgium and Switzerland, singing Amneris from “Aida”. In 2005 she was a finalist of Monte Carlo World Voice Masters Competition. Two times (December/January 2006/07 and 2007/08) she was on grand tour in Austria, Switzerland and Germany with “Verdi Gala” and “Viva la Opera”.

In 2013 she got decoration of honor “Meritorious for Polish Culture”.
